Malcolm Smith

Director of Operations

Malcolm is an accomplished professional with over 4 years’ experience with Supportive Family Services (2018-Present). Throughout his career, he has excelled in handling escalations, strategic thinking and outstanding communications skills, empowering others to feel appreciated and welcomed in his presence. His experience includes both external and internal client/colleague contact. 

 

Presently, Malcolm works alongside a team with 4 colleagues and several residential clients, where both numbers are still growing. He and his team support residential clients by connecting them all to a family supportive environment while also instilling them all with fundamental lifestyle skills that will fit their personal wellness journeys. 

 

In the role as the Director of Operations, he has been responsible for communicating and working alongside others from all walks of life and experiences. As well as overseeing the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the company is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.

 

Prior to Supportive Family Services, Malcolm has worked for other large Fortune 500 Companies where he was able to give life changing experiences and exceed in revenue, profit, and growth within the company. Having experiences in many backgrounds has helped develop his overall performance and ability to learn and adapt fast to any change, but before the full-time work life Malcolm was a full time HBCU college student at Virginia State University, located in Petersburg, VA. Here, he earned his B.A. graduating with honors Cum Laude and now he's currently enrolled in Grad School set to graduate 2023.

Overall, he’s a huge fan of challenges, which leads into his hobbies and interests. Malcolm enjoys fitness and really anything that’s hands on and active, reading empowerment books and blogs, traveling and uplifting others with the knowledge of law of attraction and manifesting, where he gives credit to his all-time favorite Motivational Speaker, Les Brown.
